BRAND REFRESH BASS FAMILY FARMSGreen Endeavors and Bass Farms are two agriculture-based businesses. They asked Fusionfarm to invigorate interest and ultimately drive more business to their special place under the Iowa sun.
Owned by the Bass family and situated next to each other on the same pastoral piece of farmland, Green Endeavors offers carefully curated flowers, plants and gifts while Bass Farms grows artisanal fresh produce and stocks locally produced food and honey. As intermingled as their brands are, however, the two businesses have traditionally been marketed separately.
Capitalizing on brand equity in both Green Endeavors and Bass Farms, our strategy was to develop a single over-arching destination brand – Bass Family Farms. With vegetal flourishes and elements that evoke rolling fields, the new logo expresses the simplicity of family farming in a modern yet welcoming way. With a new parent brand established we incorporated Green Endeavors and the newly named Nature's Harvest into the design through contrasting banners that compliment the parent
As with their marketing, the Bass family also operated separate websites for each business. Applying the same strategic principals used for the brand, we combined the two disparate websites and developed a single unified website - Bassfamilyfarms.com. Reliant on photography and illustrative writing to tell Bass Family Farm’s story, we united their shared core values of quality and attention to detail to create a web experience of carefree beauty, where both businesses coexist to express something that is larger than the sum of their parts, and converts an online search into a visit to Bass Family Farms in person.
